Getting started

How do I sign up for Goava?

Visit the Goava sign-up page and create an account with your email, or use Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft for single sign-on.

How many customers do I need to upload before building an ICP?

Goava recommends at least 10 customers. The more data you provide, the more accurate your Goava Score will be.

What languages does Goava support?

Goava supports English, Svenska (Swedish), Dansk (Danish), Norsk (Norwegian), and Suomi (Finnish).

Segments and prospecting

What is the difference between a Segment and a List?

A Segment is a dynamic, filtered view of Goava’s company database that updates automatically as data changes. A List is a static collection of companies that you manually curate. Segments are for discovery; lists are for organization.

How is the Goava Score calculated?

The Goava Score is based on your Ideal Customer Profile. Goava analyzes your best customers across multiple dimensions (geography, industry, revenue, employees, company type, technology) and scores each prospect on how closely it matches these patterns.

Can I have multiple segments?

Yes. You can create as many segments as you need, each linked to a different ICP or with different filter settings.

Can I create multiple ICPs?

Yes. Create different ICPs for different customer types — for example, one for enterprise and one for SMB — and link each to its own segment.

Why did my ICP fail?

ICP generation can fail if the source list has too few companies or if the data quality is insufficient. Check the Notifications panel for error details, and try adding more companies to your source list.

AI features

What are AI Credits?

AI Credits are consumed when Goava’s AI features analyze companies. This includes the Prospecting Agent evaluating prospects and the Research Agent generating insights.

How fast does the Prospecting Agent use credits?

Credits are spent per company analyzed, even if the company doesn’t qualify. You can control spending by setting a Maximum AI credit limit per prospect in the agent configuration.

What does the Research button do?

The Research button generates an AI-powered summary of a company’s key characteristics, making it faster to evaluate prospects before diving into the detailed tabs.

CRM and exports

Which CRMs does Goava integrate with?

Goava supports CRM integration that you configure in Settings > Integration. Click Configure to see available CRM options and set up the connection.

Can I export companies to Excel?

Yes. From any list or segment, click the Actions dropdown and select Export to excel.

What is Smart Contact Export?

Smart Contact Export automatically includes contacts from up to 2 selected categories whenever you export companies to your CRM. Configure it in Settings > Smart Contact Export.

Account and settings

How do I change my password?

Click your name in the top-right corner and select Change password, or go to Settings > Account > Change password.

How do I change my email?

Go to Settings > General and click Change Email next to your current email address.

What are Qualification Criteria?

These are up to 3 organization-wide standards that appear on every company’s Overview tab, helping your team apply consistent qualification decisions. Configure them in Settings > Qualification Criteria.
